- CNC MACHINIST/OPERATOR - 1ST SHIFT -
Position Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of 5 and 3 axis machines to produce precision components for the aerospace industry.
- Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
- Measure, examine, or test completed parts to check for defects and ensure conformance to customer using precision instruments, such as micrometers, calipers and gage pins.
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
- Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition.
- Diagnose machine tool malfunctions to determine need for adjustments or repairs.
- Work directly with Manufacturing engineers to improve processes.
