Position Responsibilities:
  • Program and operate 5 axis machining centers using Mastercam.
  • Plan machining from work schedules and engineering drawings and CAD.
  • Work independently as well as with other Machine Shop staff to determine work proper holding, tool holding, and tools required for jobs.
  • Measure, examine, or test completed parts to check for defects and ensure conformance to customer using precision instruments, such as micrometers, calipers and gage pins.
  • Work directly with quality manager to ensure all components are running smoothly with green CMM reports.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • 3 years experience operating 4 and 5-axis CNC machining centers using Mastercam
  • Must be able to work independently and possess strong CNC setup, operating machine abilities.
  • Can read and understand drawings and specifications with above average understanding of geometric tolerancing and dimensioning (GD&T).
